Both medical and non-medical professionals may treat acupuncture in Denmark. There is no accredited training for acupuncture (89). Needle acupuncture for patient treatment is allowed for persons with or without authorization. Conditions are that the practitioner must not put the patient at risk. Injections with medicinal products are only allowed for doctors and health personnel.
