Physiotherapy is a regulated profession in the Czech Republic with the professional title “Fyzioterapeut”. The title is not protected, and the professional activity is regulated by law.
The Czech Republic has established a code of ethics for physiotherapists. The national authority responsible for the physiotherapy profession in the Czech Republic is the Ministry of Health (80).
Physiotherapist is a directly related regulated profession with title “Fyzioterapeut” (Physiotherapist (EN)) recognized under Directive 2005/36/EC (5), ID 7111.
