NAFKAM shall focus extra on widespread health problems and ailments, especially among vulnerable patient groups where the problem has a major negative impact on the individual's quality of life. An example of this is cancer.

Here is a chronological overview of scientific publications on the topic of alternative treatment for cancer; where employees at NAFKAM are among the authors. In addition, NAFKAM handles the international research collaboration CAM Cancer, which to date offers more than 75 openly available summaries of research on various alternative forms of treatment used for cancer.
