Ayurveda is listed in the CAM act §4 as a CAM system that may be used when carrying out CAM practices (259).
The CAM act enables practitioners of Ayurvedic medicine to be registered if they have at least a secondary education in the domain of healthcare or secondary education and a knowledge test in healthcare, plus a valid licence (details in §36 and §39) (259).
